Another subject changing post from me....okay since the Sixers game was close against San Antonio I watched it and unbelievably the Sixers won. So last night, they come off a big win and play the Bulls. I figure there is no way they can win 2 games in a row and I was right. But they lose by 33? Come on....come on....I am just sick of this town being full of incompetent organizations. I honestly feel that the Flyers are the only organization that really tries to put out a solid product, but fails pretty regularly doing so. I am very down on the Eagles, but I think it is because I am such an Eagles fan and I just was devastated by what I saw last year. And to compound it, I don't see (and because the only thing that I see is filtered through the website or the media)this dire sense of urgency and a team that is focused to bounce back...of course time will tell. The Phillies, on the other hand, at least hired someone who is a proven winner to run the show, but again we'll see how long it takes to fix Head's mess. The Sixers, finally, are a team with no clue at all. Really....it is almost to the point of total apathy for me....SI had Webber and AI as 2 of the top 6 least for the money players. No bench, players that can't play, players that are one-dimensional, aging stars that really won't bring a championship here. My honest to god criteria to watch a team is the attempt to win. For example, I loved when Andy Reid first came to town and after the mess with Doug Pederson there was solid progress. With the Devil, the Sixers went from a total mess (remember the Don McLean, Lucious Harris, Tony Massenburg era? not to mention Shawn Bradley) to playing in a NBA championship....the Sixers are so far from that now....Billy King, in my opinion, is probably the worst general manager of a Philly team that I can honestly remember. Worse than Ed Wade, Wade was a total knob but made pretty decent off-season attempts. Worse than Lee Thomas, worse than any Eagles GM. Actually I never really paid that much attention to GMs until recently, it is actually hard for me to name them since they are pretty faceless....John Lucas, Dick Daniels, Jim Murray for the Eagles was good, Paul Owens was good....Big Red and Heckert. Anyway, back to the point, King was pretty much brought in here to be the Devil's hand puppet and he somehow struck around after the Devil was banished to Detroit. He can't judge talent and this team is a total mess. Yuck and yawn...

John Stewart said it best. What kind of a powerful man are you when you can shoot someone in the face and THEY say "My bad".....
