I Could Not Say It Better (But I've Tried)

McNabb was a nice Qb and is probably the best they ever had at the position, but he had his flaws and at 33 years old, he's no longer a spring chicken. It's all about where you weigh things on the big scale. I liked him and my daughters wear his jersey, but it was time to turn the page to something new as the team was never going to win the SB with him. He will never win the SB, and in the end, that is all that really matters.

But can't we all agree that it makes zero sense that a moron like Cataldi makes a million dollars a year? There is no justice.

I agree it was time to move on more because of his injury history (and right on queue he's questionable for week 1 already). I don't believe that he wasn't good enough to win a SB or will never win one. You can't tell me the 6th best QB of the past 10 years isn't good enough to win a SB. That makes no sense.

Really? I never listen to him, but that's a lot of money.

Philly Mag had Cataldi at $850K I believe and I think he also gets appearance fees, so I'd believe he is in the milly neighborhood. Isn't it alarming that all you need to do is be uninformed and have a big mouth to be rich?

I think he was good enough to win an SB but he has a lot of miles and his limitations (health, a slight lost step, longer recovery time, skills that will dull a bit each year) will make winning one at this point in his career darn near impossible. He'd need to be on a team with a superior O line, which he isn't. He'd need a great running game, and the Skins have a bunch of fading RB. He'd need great WR, and the Skins have average WR. He could be a roll player on a superior team and manage the game, but he cannot win the game on his own (always and forever my knock on him). Saying that he can win a SB now says that you believe the Skins are capable of winning a Super Bowl in the next 2-3 years (his final in the game). A Skins organization that has been pretty putrid over the last 15 years, that drafts poorly, and has a bunch of good but very old players in key positions. Sorry, that notion makes no sense to me.

And I would not say it is concrete that Don was a top 6 QB the past 10 years. He is absolutely in the argument, but there is an argument. In my opinion, Brady, Manning, Roethlisberger, Brees, Warner, have consistently been the top 5. One can argue pretty fairly that the next group of Romo, Rivers, McNabb, Eli, Rogers, and Schaub are a toss up. Don has done it longer, but not necessarily better than that group.

But I don't care about McNabb anymore. His pros and cons are someone else's joy/problem now. I am excited to get the Kolb era rolling. Hopefully I forget who the QB was before Kolb by year end.

If the business is viable were it not for the debts or the pressure from the creditors then there is a great chance of the business being sold off as a pre-pack subject to terms and conditions which you will be advised.
