Silence is Golden

I've become a big fan of DeSean over the past several years because he's a legit big play WR in this league. I'm becoming a bigger fan by the way he's handling his discomfort with his current contract. Some people may quibble with him not talking to reporters. I don't mind this though. Better to say nothing than to say something wrong. And neither him nor his agent are saying anything wrong right now.

The media these days can twist even the most innocuous of comments into the most profane of statements. Kudos to DeSean for going about this the right way.

I don't know, I see it as sort of a 50/50 thing where he can do nothing right. His silence to me looks a little immature and spiteful at not getting more money. Yet he manned up, did not pull a Darelle Revis (and he could have) and is unhappily in camp. The Birds will hopefully reward this. I think they erred big time not paying him last off season as his asking price may soar, but they also may know something seeing as he was completely shut down the last two games vs. Dallas last year.

All reports from camp lately say "be afraid, be very afraid...of the O line". My worst fear is that sub par rag tag bunch doing them in and that sounds like what may happen as the second D line is apparently mauling them every day.

Just great. As I mentioned in a previous post, we really need a decent o-line to give Kolb some time. This could be a very long season if Kolb gets pummeled relentlessly. I think he'll end up taking fewer sacks though than 5 ever did just because there's no way he holds the ball so long.

Apparently Graham is a beast. Every pundit who has seen him says the kid will be the defensive rookie of the year. And these aren't WIP pundits, we're talking the big boys who know football from ESPN.

I would believe that, but the Iggles track record on the lines is not great. (mcdougle - cough, cough). It's almost a curse at this point. Heck, the best high pick they've had (Shawn Andrews) is now relegated to the UFL. I'll hope like the rest of you, but pardon me if I wait a while before I start believing the hype.

If the business is viable were it not for the debts or the pressure from the creditors then there is a great chance of the business being sold off as a pre-pack subject to terms and conditions which you will be advised.
