Playing with Google Ads II

hmm. it appears that google's scan is much better and more contextual than what can be outwitted by a simple list of porn stars.

attempt two is to replace every instance of ---boys with some variation on the name, and every mention of j--ry j-nes with jenny jones and bill p---lls with bill parsmells.

let see how google handles that.

I think you need more than just have one day of porn names if you want to see a change. There's a lot of instances of the cowgirls and such on this page....

i think the problem is that blogger looks like it caches the original posts somewhere and that's what google ads must be scanning.

if you search for "jenny" using the search bar it comes up with nothing, but if you search for "jerry" you come up with lots of things (even though all the jerry's have been changed to jenny).

i'm hoping it's a timing issue rather than a design issue with their process.

Chris, thanks for tackling this problem. I just find it shocking cause I'm sure we talk about the Eagles/Iggles/Bird far more than the cowgirls or Jenna Jameson.

PFT projects the Iggles (that's EAGLES, google) drafting LB in round 1: http://www.profootballtalk.com/2006mockdraft.htm

I'm seeing a lot of hype about Eric Moulds wanting to come to Philly. Is this even a possibility even if he drops his supposed asking price? Would he start?

Who would we keep?

it should be Gaffney, Moulds (not gonna happen, though), Stinkston, and Greg Lewis...bye bye Billy Mac

it won't happen so it doesn't matter anyway....why would we want to improve that position....other side of the coin, why would you pay a 33-year-old 5 mil a year even if he would be your best player?

Don't forget that Brown kid. He's probably #2 right now.

Billy who? And I think you're being a bit cruel with Pinkston. Granted he's never going to be more than a #2 WR, but he has been somewhat productive. For some reason, that's a position the Eagles are just freakin horrendous at developing players at. What if Moulds drops his asking price to $4 million per for 3 years? That wouldn't sound too bad.

can't believe I forgot Reggie B, of course (I knew I was missing someone)...I have no problem with Pinky and think they missed him last year...I am just used to calling the Trash and Stinkston combo package.....I would take Moulds in a heartbeat, but the asking price is illogical for Joey B....Pete had a good post last year about receivers in the Birds O, it is taking them 5 years for the most part to get the system down....a gap analysis needs to be done with appropriate corrective/preventive action CAPA.

Looks like google ads have moved on to the Stealers. While I would consider this a dramatic upgrade (at least they're in the right state now), have we ever had ANY posts about that team?!?! Maybe they just rotate the teams every 3-4 days for all football sites.
