Grumpiest Guy Ever

they gotta stop rolling this guy out. leave him in the closet where he belongs.
has there ever been a grumpier guy than this? how in blazes could you "despise" reggie white? besides, it's not like he played for the cowboys or giants... he was an EAGLE! how the heck do you take shots at a guy during his hall of fame induction week?Speaking with reporters after practice at Lehigh, Bednarik was asked if Reggie White was his type of player.
"No," the 81-year-old Bednarik said. "I don't know why. There was something about him that distracted me from him."
Asked a few minutes later if he was a Reggie White fan, Bednarik reiterated the same thought. "No, not really," he said. "I don't know. At the time there was something about him that I just despised."
Then Bednarik added: "My memory is pretty bad, so I don't remember those things."

Does anyone care what this old fart says? He is an embarassment to the Eagles organization. A completely delusional 80 year old turd who played football back when the game was young and the talent level was diluted at best. 2 way player, but the game was very collegiate back then. I am not impressed. This guy would be worse than Josh Parry in this day and age. Someone should cram a sock into his aged yap and tell him to take his opinions to the VFW hall where someone might care about them.

still, you have to have respect for a guy who once hit frank gifford so hard on the football field that gifford quit pro football for an entire year.
