Honestly...what the hell happened...I can't even form an opinion
1. Why would Dallas cops, who are more than likely Cowboys fans lie on an official police report.
2. How many pain killers (I have been on hydrocodone APAP, too for a toothache) must one take to get "groggy", buzzed, baked, toasted, high, or whatever he called it....delusional and forgetting what he said. I just don't think anything short of a ton would do the trick. That's just me. I know buzzed and sir, you are no buzzed (with anything short of a ton of painkillers).
3. If he was in the hospital, for what according to police reports was an attempted suicide....why would the hospital let him leave. Don't they at least have psychological services talk to you or keep you for observation...he got out awfully quick.
4. Is an emergency situation so "chaotic" that TO would confuse "are you trying to harm yourself" with "hey TO, are you going to beat the Titans this weekend" and reply "yes". Wouldn't they be such that the medic can focus and ascertain the extent of the situation. I am no EMT, but wouldn't training be concentrated, determined, and focused on saving one's life and not asking ambiguous questions.
5. Why the hell would Parcells have a press conference and say nothing? You can't sell me that Bill was not aware of the situation the night before and was called, text messaged and smoke signalled immediately when his problem child was taken to the hospital. And fully briefed, had the situation spun, etc. Does Dallas think that we are that stupid?
6. Why the hell was TO so bubbly during his press conference? If the cops "lied" and publicly accused you of being a psychotic suicide risk that became national news....wouldn't you if anything be pissed off....I would think his demeanor would be more Rafael Palmerio than it was.
I don't know what to believe, and just hope that this dies quick...
don't forget:
- how could the police possibly make up "i shoved my fingers in his mouth to take out the pills he was trying to swallow"
- why would the EMTs make up the notion that me-o was still popping pills even as they were working on him?
This is freakin great. While no one could have possibly predicted how TO to Dallas would've played out, this has to be about the best case scenario, right? Totally disrupts training camp, gets injured, now this? Since Shockey and Plexiglass are currently playing the role of TO in NY, how much will it take to get Snyder to take TO next year?
Note: If he had come out and said he's got a problem, then I'd never say a cross word about him and would also offer my prayers/thoughts toward him getting right. But since he didn't, game on!
Interesting article on foxsports.com...there is some numbnut who claims he lived with Owens said that 2 dramatic things happened to Owens on Monday....
1. It was his son's birthday and he could not be with him.
2. His fiancee broke up with him.
All the nimrods come out, but if this has any validity....who knows....again I just can't get a take pro or con.

1) the police were called in by the EMT's. Why? Probably because it WAS considered a suicide attempt, and the EMT's HAVE to call whether or not the charges ultimately get pressed. Most times the charges won't get pressed, especially if no danger to anyone else, and it's more than likely that the person will now receive help and guidance.
2)I'm quite sure he's got good pain killers. Demerol, etc, but even if he only had perks or vikes, 35 of them is enough for them to pump your stomach and feed you a nice charcoal coctail for the next 8 hours to make sure you haven't just turned your liver into essentially, dog poop.
3)He WAS admitted, and for more than 10 hours, which is about what they do for suicide attempts. They basically make to talk to a therapist, make sure you've come down from the drugs, aren't in danger medically anymore, and release you. Especially if it's into the hands of someone else.
How do I know? Let's just say I had a weakness for nut job women about 11 years ago.
(I know some of you are now squinting and looking up to mentally figure out who it was, as if you can't just guess.)

Also note that, due to Federal medical privacy laws (of which Owens has likely been advised), the hospital is prohibited from disputing, confirming or even discussing the nature, details or cause of his treatment.
