Can we just mark DAL down for a 6-10 season already or do we need to actually play the games?

Conventional wisdom says the NFC East is the best division right now in football. What if it's not even close to being the best in the NFC (South)? Going undefeated in the division puts the Iggles back at 12-4 this year. Would someone please help me keep my expectations for the year in check? Anyone?

Thoughts on the trade of Simoneau (and a 4th round 2007 draft pick) for WR Stallworth from the Saints? The guy had 70 receptions for 945 yards last year. Could this be one of the playmakers the Birds so desparately needed? Anyone crying over the loss of Simoneau?

Of all the people. Stahhworth is injury prone. Just what the Eagles need. Not sad to see Simoneau go but I'm disappointed to see who they're bring in as help.

1) I am shocked they're bringing a WR in this late. Absolutely can't believe it. cant see him contributing before October, but then 75% of Stallworth for a year might end up being 2x better than anything else we have.

2) Simonwho? No loss there. Next year's 4th round draft pick probably has more value.

3) This deal has Banner written all over it. Reid would never admit to a making a personel mistake this early in the year. Frankly, I think this is the bigger (and more positive) development from a franchise standpoint.

I've only seen Stallworth play a handful of times. How about a little scouting report from the well-informed. His stats look pretty good, but I'm interested in learning what people think he'll do for the Eagles. Is he a number 1 receiver? Can he stretch the field? I'm guessing this means that Pinkston isn't healthy.

Curious,
Ben
