Watching Avant in clips, I love the way he uses his hands: he keeps them in front and grabs the ball, never traps it with his chest. He has "game speed", this kid could be a nice slot guy.
Since I don't anything about college, I have no idea whether this was a good draft or not. That said, what ever happened to Reid only taking character guys? 1st 2 picks both have arrests on their records.
I also question how durable Bloom will ever be. Skiing moguls competitively absolutely OBLITERATES your knees. Might only have 2-3 years left in him. Course 3 good return years is probably worth a 5th round pick.
And Happy B-day Concrete Charley who turns 81 years young today.
Jason Avant was an excellent draft.
I went to U of Michigan and saw him play there. He isn't Me-O grade yet, but could develop into a clutch WR for the eagles.
Bunkley put up some ridiculous numbers at the combine. He benched 225 44 times and ran the 40 in 4.97, which is pretty fast for a guy who weighs 306.
We definitely got some good talent here.
