Ouch. The bad TO rears his ugly head after just one season. Re-negotiate his contract? He just signed it last year for cripes' sake! Between this, "Little Dumplin'" possibly going, and Hollis' being disgruntled, the off-season is not getting off to a good start.

Random Phils Thoughts

Well the new season is starting today, and despite my intention to stay apathetic about them until Ed Wade is fired, I find myself looking forward to watching them play.

Some questions entering the season:

- Was it Bowa's fault that they collapsed for every big series they played the last few years or is it just that this team doesn't have heart?

- Can Wagner's tiny frame hold up over a season of throwing 95 mph? I know he can throw 100, but should he?

- Can Pat Burrell stay away from sliders low and away?

- Is Brett Myers ever going to fulfill his "can't miss" potential? Frankly at this point, I just don't see it.
